  • 6:00 am: Arrive in front of Blue Elephant Cooking School on the corner of Krabi and Satun Rd. Meet your knowledgeable instructor and fellow participants for a brief tour briefing, where you'll receive an overview of the day's itinerary and photography goals.

  • 6:15 am - 7:45 am: Begin your photographic exploration at the vibrant street market. Immerse yourself in the bustling atmosphere as you capture the colourful array of fresh produce, local delicacies, and lively interactions between vendors and customers. Practice your composition skills and experiment with different angles to create captivating images that showcase the essence of the market.

  • 8:00 am - 9:00 am: Proceed to the Tao Shrine, a significant cultural and religious landmark in Phuket. Admire the intricate architecture and ornate details of this revered shrine, while capturing its serene ambiance and spiritual significance through your lens.

  • 9:00 am - 11:00 am: Embark on a captivating wander through the streets of Old Phuket Town. Let your camera lead the way as you navigate the charming lanes lined with Sino-Portuguese buildings. Discover hidden alleys, architectural gems, and captivating street scenes that reflect the unique cultural heritage of the area. Take your time to capture the intricate details, vibrant colors, and cultural nuances that make Old Phuket Town a photographer's paradise.

  • 11:15 am - 12:30 pm: Experience a historic visit to a Sino-Portuguese home and museum. Step back in time as you explore the well-preserved interiors, antique furnishings, and captivating artifacts that offer a glimpse into Phuket's past. Use your photography skills to document the rich history and architectural beauty of this cultural treasure.

  • 12:45 pm - 1:30 pm: Indulge in a delicious lunch at a traditional noodle house. Take a break from photography and savour the flavours of Phuket's culinary delights. This is an excellent opportunity to connect with fellow participants and share your photographic experiences and discoveries thus far.

  • 1:30 pm: Conclude the Phuket Culture Walking Tour. Reflect on the memorable moments and the incredible images you've captured throughout the day. Exchange contact information with fellow photography enthusiasts and bid farewell to your instructor, who will provide any final tips or recommendations for continuing your photographic journey in Phuket.

  • In addition to the main locations mentioned above, you may also have the opportunity to explore other points of interest, such as Phuket Town Central Market, Museum Phuket (Phuket Nagara), Hai Leng Ong Statue (Golden Dragon Monument), the street art mural at Dibuk-Yaworat junction, Sangtham Shrine, Jui Tui Shrine, The Memory at On On Hotel, and Chin Pracha House. Please note that the itinerary may vary depending on the group's interests and the instructor's recommendations.

Camera recommendations:

  • Point and shoot with manual settings or Mirrorless or DSLR

  • Zoom Lens and 50mm or similar

  • Fully charged battery and spare

  • Optional Tripod

  • Reusable drinking bottle for filtered water

  • Sunglasses

  • Sunscreen

  • Hat

Please wear clothing that covers both knees and shoulders for all temples
(can be something light that you can remove during other parts of the tour, but it is respectful and required to be modestly dressed during your time within the temple sites)
